For those who stepped aboard the Halcyon, the voyage was never just a journey between stars. It was a living story where alliances formed in quiet corners of the ship and every passenger eventually chose a path — hero, rebel, or something a little more complicated.

The Sublight Lounge was often where those choices began. Beneath its soft lighting and the hum of music, conversations drifted toward secrets, side deals, and whispered opportunities. It was here that the Halcyon’s resident rogue, Raithe Kole, moved easily through the crowd — equal parts charm, mischief, and mystery — recruiting unlikely allies for covert missions that would ripple through the ship’s unfolding story.

Rogue Vibes reflects the spirit of that experience rather than a single scene. Through a cinematic geometric impressionist style, the piece captures the attitude and energy that made Raithe such an unforgettable presence aboard the Halcyon — a reminder that sometimes the most interesting path through the story was the one that bent the rules.

Inspiration

I created Rogue Vibes as a tribute to the scoundrel storyline aboard the Galactic Starcruiser and to the character of Raithe Kole, in this case, portrayed with unforgettable charm by Justin Sonfield.

When I boarded the Halcyon, I fully expected to follow the Resistance storyline as a loyal Rebel. But like many passengers, I quickly found myself pulled into the orbit of the ship’s more mischievous personalities — Raithe, Sandro, Gaya, and Ouannii among them. Their energy turned the Sublight Lounge into a place where the story felt alive and unpredictable.

Justin once told me that the pose depicted in this artwork — now almost emblematic of Raithe Kole — was originally just a casual promotional shot taken before the Galactic Starcruiser opened. Somehow that moment perfectly captured the character’s rogue confidence.

For me, Rogue Vibes became a way to honor both the character and the performer who helped make the Halcyon feel like a living corner of the Star Wars galaxy.
