There’s a kind of quiet only the Florida sun can make.
The kind that hums through the palms, hangs over the lagoon, and slows everything down to the rhythm of your heartbeat.
Afternoon Still is that feeling — the heat, the hush, the glow of water just before the sky turns gold. Layers of acrylic drift between deep ocean blues and coral light, sealed under glossy resin that makes the color feel alive. Three palms stand against an abstract horizon, holding the last warmth of the day.
Originally created as part of the Capsule Tales series, this painting now stands on its own — a single snapshot of a moment that still hums after all these years
Some memories fade. This one just stayed perfectly still.
