New Hand Painted / Printed Barware Premiering @ The 2019 Nightclub & Bar Show in Las Vegas
March 20 2019 – Amy Wilson
Vegas, baby!
It wouldn't be March if Nelson wasn't on the road with El Yucateco Hot Sauce!
In years past, Nelson has painted unique pieces of art on canvas for the awesome hot sauce brand.
Our mobile-studio setup (shown here from the 2017 Las Vegas Nightclub and Bar show) was literally like having my regular studio on a trade show floor! Everyting you see was acrylic on canvas, and painted as fast as I could move.
We did this for two years - making new canvas pieces, each of which was then shipped off to a House of Blues somewhere across the USA (theres even some Nelson art for El Yucateco hanging in the House of Blues in Las Vegas - let us know if you ever get there!).
This year, tho, we decided to do something totally different and fun.
What's Old is Cool Again
This year, we are doing something totally different! Nelson will be live-painting, at the show, mid-century style retro Tiki Barware based on El Yucaetco!
Each of these is painted using Posca pens, and then sealed with a matte sealer which is hand-washable!
Retro isn't old. It's just cool as hell.
We love these so much, that we will soon be releasing a new series of hand-painted barware exclusively on www.nelsonmakesart.com just in time for the summer season!
Make sure you sign up for our Newsletter to be informed of these new releases. And if you have something you'd like made just for you or your establishment, email us at nelsonmakesartmarketing@gmail.com and lets make something awesome!
Get out your martini glasses and cool-cat shades, my friends. It's going to be a hot summer with our cool barware!
