The Spark is built around the moment before surrender becomes impossible—the instant when survival gives way to resistance, and one person decides he will not bend.

Cassian Andor stands against a fractured Rebel symbol assembled from the people, places, losses and choices that shaped him. Light, geometry and fragmented memories collide around him, turning the familiar insignia into something less like an emblem and more like a history still being written. The 2nd Edition refines that story with newly reworked details throughout the composition.

The 2nd Edition lives a little further down that road. It is less about the moment resistance begins, and more about what happens after there is no going back — when the cost is understood, the losses are real, and the choice to keep moving has become something larger than survival. What remains is conviction: imperfect, hard-earned, and carried forward because someone has to.

Inspiration

The first version of The Spark began as something deeply personal. I created it for an opportunity to have a piece signed by Diego Luna after Andor had stayed with me through one of the hardest stretches of my life. Cassian's ability to keep moving without certainty—and without knowing whether any of it would ultimately matter—hit me at exactly the right time.

For this 2nd Edition, I wanted to finish the idea rather than simply reprint it. I rebuilt several fragments inside the Rebel symbol: Maarva was added, the Senate scene now lets you find Mon Mothma and Erskin Semaj walking toward it, and Syril Karn now looks toward Cassian while Cassian, appropriately enough, isn't looking back.

The signed and numbered 1st Edition remains its own limited release. This is the revised open edition: the version in which I finally felt the composition had said everything I wanted it to say.
